Basically I have continiued the work of last week. Now that Knit as programming language is working well enough I can slowly start to think, how to make an acceptable UI.
- I solved most of the problems of last week: There is now a knit API for actions, context and keybinds.
- The idea with the terminal was stupid. Turns out that you can either use your mouse or type, but not both at the same time very efficeniently as not many people are born with three arms.
- The idea to overhaul the editor was a good one. The old one looked pretty. The new one is usable. I will release the next version publically if the editor has around the same functionality as the old one. Which is hopefully end of next week?
